Countdown to wedding bells.

Posted: February 28, 2005 in General, Wedding

Of course our wedding will not have bells (being the non-religous type.) Cara and I went to Lighthouse Inn (our reception site) to do our tasting on Saturday. I think we were both very happy with the food, and hopefully everyone else enjoys it as much as we did/will. After that we went to the bakery to try to get that knocked off our list too.

I’m not Italian, and I have to admit that with the exception of most pasta dishes, I’m not all that fond of Italian cooking. There’s something odd about Italian baking. As you might imagine the bakery that Lighthouse Inn works with is an Italian bakery. I have to admit that there is a little fear there, and I’m wondering if I’ll like the cake.

Of course then again, I have a feeling that a great majority of these decisions that are made will barely be remembered in the future. As I’ve told Cara many times, it doesn’t really matter to me that much, and I only offer my opinion because she asks.

On Sunday we drove to the Providence Place mall to browse Crate and Barrel and Potterybarn for wedding registry stuff. Per usual Cara and I had differing opinions on what we liked (or didn’t like.) I know there is a happy medium, but it’s not that easy for us to get there.
