General Jeep Amusement (Part I)

I was going to bail on going to the JonFund Field Trip after getting my tires earlier on Thursday and the white knuckled drive back home. Justin convinced me to try to fix the issues I had (with his help) so I could go. My major issue was that my wheel bearings have been in questionable shape for quite a while, and the larger tires and increases lift made it a scary ride, especially combined with the lack of sway bars.

$350 in bearings, a lot of swearing, and about three hours fixed most of my issues (and uncovered a few more that I’ll have to fix in the future). With that done and Justin packing (which consisted of him pulling clothes out of the dryer and tossing them in a bag), we were off to drive up to New Hampshire.

Justin (towing his Jeep behind his newly acquired E-350 van, and trailer) and I arrived at the camp site shortly after midnight. Everyone else had already gone to bed, so we proceeded to set up camp and grab some sleep before Saturday’s off-roading trips.
